About Us
Hong Kong Arbitration Society is an independent non-profit organisation dedicated to the promotion of arbitration development in Hong Kong.
HKAS launched the First Legal Information Chatbot in Hong Kong. The problem with legal services in Hong Kong is that legal fees are too expensive and unaffordable for many of the general public at present. The aim of this platform is to redefine the way to access legal information and to share free legal information by legal practitioners by using technologies of artificial intelligence, natural language processing, chatbot and cloud-based including a legal information chatbot and a legal information share platform.
If the chatbot is not able to provide the legal information, an email address can be entered and the question will be sent to a legal practitioner to answer manually.
The platform is developed by legal practitioners in Hong Kong and other legal practitioners in Hong Kong are welcome to join the platform to share legal information.
Share Law is now supporting 12 different areas of law, namely, Family, Probate, Landlord and Tenant, Land, Mediation, Arbitration, Sale of goods, Supply of services, Money lending, Construction and Decoration, Employment and Bankruptcy.
This legal information chatbot is funded by the Innovation and Technology Fund for Better Living.
